Emerald City Eatery was founded in 2015 to do one thing well: corporate catering for Seattle's offices, conferences, and team events. We've worked with over 200 companies in the area — from 8-person boardroom lunches to 400-person all-hands.

Why we focus on corporate

Corporate catering rewards consistency over creativity. Vendor onboarding paperwork, certificate-of-insurance compliance, predictable invoicing, on-time delivery. We've optimized for those because that's what our clients actually need. Weddings and large private parties are not our focus — we'll happily refer you elsewhere if that's what you're planning.

How we handle dietary needs

We accommodate common dietary preferences — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free — with adequate lead time. We can prepare nut-free dishes on request, but our kitchen is not a dedicated nut-free facility. For severe allergies where cross-contamination is a concern, please discuss with us before booking; we'll be honest about whether we're the right fit and refer you to a dedicated facility if not.

Our team

Director of Operations: Marcus Tran. Head Chef: Elena Krieger. Three full- time chefs, six event-day staff, and a vendor relations manager (Kira) who handles client onboarding. We're a small, stable team — most of us have been here 4+ years.
