We’ve been with Emerald City Eatery for 6 quarters now. The single biggest reason is reliability — they’ve never missed a delivery window, never substituted unexpectedly. Food is consistently good (B+ to A-). Vendor team handles all the COI/MSA paperwork without me having to chase. For corporate it’s all about predictability and they nail that.

Used Emerald City for our user-conference catering — three days, breakfast/lunch/breaks. Logistics were excellent (their conference experience shows). Food was solidly good throughout. The only slight ding: the lunch entree on day 2 was a chicken dish that was clearly the same chicken from day 1’s salads, just dressed differently. Cost-conscious move but a little obvious.

Would still book again — the operational reliability outweighs the menu observation.

Holiday party for 60. Kira on the vendor side was very responsive — quote came back in a few hours and was clearly itemized. Food was good (turkey was honestly excellent), but my one ask was a fully nut-free menu for two guests with severe allergies, and they were upfront that their kitchen isn’t dedicated nut-free so they couldn’t fully guarantee it. We worked around it (those two guests got specially-prepared trays from a separate vendor) but if you have severe allergies you’ll need to plan around it. Their honesty about the limitation was appreciated.
